Membership contributions represent one of our largest sources of funding.  CHAPTS works with parents, teachers and school administrators to support teachers and students in providing Chaparral with supplemental assistance for programs, resources and volunteering opportunities.  In past years, CHAPTS funds have been used to buy books and media, computers, Smartboards and other technology; enhance security through the purchase and installation of security cameras; purchase math and science equipment; underwrite curriculum enrichment initiatives; provide educational and informational programs for students and parents; support teacher appreciation events; and much more.

CHAPTS Members also receive a copy of the annual Student Directory, which contains every student’s name by grade, as well as address, phone number, and parent name(s) (unless withheld by request). In addition, the student directory offers school information, school calendar, and information about the sponsors that support CHAPTS.  The directory is for CHAPTS members only and members are asked to support its commitment of confidentiality.
